And the countdown begins for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s Big Day! After their unforgettable engagement – the roka ceremony that happened this August in Mumbai , there had been talks stating that the couple got busy hunting for the appropriate venue and chose the Mehrangarh Fort , Jodhpur as their probable venue to tie the knot  this December. Amongst all these Priyanka’s friends – Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula  Acharia surprised both Priyanka and us with a swanky bridal shower last Sunday (28-10-18)  that caught everyone’s eyes. The event went down at Tiffany’s Blue Box Café in New York City. The bride-to-be showed up in a super stylish white gown complete with feathers by Marchesa. She also carried a very posh bling to go with her statement gown – a necklace and a pair of studs from Tiffany & Co. jewellery that is touted to be worth over a million dollars. This is excluding the Rs 2.1 crore ring that Nick Jonas gave her. So the combined worth of all the jewels that Priyanka wore on her bridal shower rounds up to a whopping Rs 9.5 crores!

The event was filled with music, lights, food and lots of laughter. People in the event moved their legs to Bollywood numbers and partied their hearts out. The bridesmaids – Anjula Acharia and Mubina Rattonsey also gave speeches in honour of the bride-to-be. The guests finally left with goodie bags that included monogrammed passport cases, mini cake shaped like the iconic Tiffany box and champagne.
