A Heart Condition - The Wedding Story of Two Doctors

A Heart Condition - The Wedding Story of Two Doctors

We all love a good love story. And when we see a young couple, we root for them, naturally. We want them to ride off into the sunset. And when they do, it gives us hope. Hope that happily-ever-afters do exist, and we will find ours, one day. Here’s one such couple who found theirs.

Pavithra met Raghuvaran at her college. They were both studying Medicine, and for the first two years of their acquaintance, they were friends. When Raghuvaran proposed to her, she wasn’t sure and so she hesitated. But he impressed her and won her heart. A month later, Pavithra’s mother found out and was also hesitant but her father, who was also a doctor thought it was natural.

Pavithra’s father had said they- Pavithra and Raghuvaran- must first finish their course and should they come back still feeling strongly about each other then he shall proceed further. And they did as they were told.

Raghuvaran spoke to her mother and charmed her also. A year of working, followed by postgrad, the happy couple began their happily-ever-after on July 9th of this year, opening with their wedding ceremony.

For the reception and wedding the bride bought her sarees from Prakash in Kanjeevaram. And also some sarees from Pothys Boutique. She did not go for a variety of clothes, instead she was very much comfortable with keeping it classic and sticking with sarees for all her functions.

Her jewellery was purchased from GRT, Chennai. Diamonds were from Viswa and Devji, Coimbatore and Jaswanth Singh, Karaikudi. And Otiyanam, she bought from Joy Alukkas, Coimbatore. Pavithra was impressed with the collection and was happy with her wedding trousseau.

Some customized jewellery were made by Sridharan in Madurai.

The groom purchased his Sherwani and also a matching pair of shoes from Moksha, Chennai. His hair was done by M. Prabhu from Naturals, Pondicherry.

Her make-up was done by Dhivya, gave the bride a traditional look and did a wonderful job. The overall look of the bride reminded us of a yesteryear heroine.
