A Wonderland Kinda Wedding With The Bride In Red

A Wonderland Kinda Wedding With The Bride In Red

A beautiful and a very lovely arranged wedding that took place in Coimbatore between Durga and Vishnu is definitely worth knowing about.

Let's hear it from the very pretty bride herself as she takes us through the memory lane.

"We met through families and were under-going several formalities. Meanwhile, we wanted to speak in private and we ended up speaking for over 3 and a half hours and everybody had to literally pull us out. Such began our love story.

Our engagement took place on the 3rd of July at Taj. My initial silk saree was from @the-chennai-silks# and my second saree, given by Vishnu's parents was from Seematti, Kochin.

My blouse was designed by RV Coutier. They sure did a great job.

Makeup purposes were taken care of by @scarlet-makeup-artistry-by-swathi#.She did an amazing job and I had booked her back then for my wedding as well. I was very particular about few things and she understood them so well and replicated them like how I wanted them to be.

Photography purposes were taken care of by @the-photo-today#. They too, did a brilliant job.

Our wedding was a four-day event with a Sangeeth, a reception, the muhurtham and another reception in Allepey.

I had my Sangeeth outfit customized from @onedotknot#. I had met Divya few times and had discussed with her as to what I was looking for and she did a great job with the lovely dress.

My Muhurtham saree was from Seematti, Kochi and my blouse again was customized by @onedotknot#.

My reception lehenga was from Koskii, Bangalore.

Most of Vishnu's suits were from Shangai and were absolutely complimenting all of my looks.

Most of my jewelry were from Kirtilal's, Coimbatore. The diamond neck set I wore on my reception day was from Kochi.

As far as the decorations were concerned, we did not have a particular theme but wanted to look royale. Aparna, Nagaraj's daughter from Coimbatore made things easier for us. She designed everything royally and we loved it. The pallak decor, the one with the manavarai, the oonjal and everything felt so good that it looked like a typical Tam-brahm wedding even though it wasn't. All thanks to Nagaraj Decorations, Coimbatore.

Swathi had given me tips on what to and what not to do before the wedding. I kept myself hydrated and always carried sun screen with me wherever I went. That sure did help me a lot.
