A Most Sorted Wedding In Terms Of Classy Trousseau

Relationships are always stronger when you are best friends first and a couple second. The IT professional couple who've lived up to this very saying are Pravarsha and Praneeth.

Let's hear it from the bride herself who joyously takes us through her wedding journey.

"Praneeth makes me the best version of myself, he believes in me even when I don't and that is something I'm forever grateful about.

We both are friends first and we never noticed when and how it turned into love. We have known each other for six years.

We both are very lucky to have big and loving families and our cousins from both ends are equally excited for us as much as we are. We never thought or talked about how the wedding should be. Everything was a dream come true. All of a sudden, one fine day, when I woke up, I am Mrs.Praneeth Kumar and I couldn't have asked for more.

My sister took all the pain in planning the wedding, right from the invitations, return gifts,  jewelry, decorations, catering, sarees etc. I went home for the wedding before a month so I didn't get much time to participate in this in person. My sister used to short-list and run it by me before confirming it and that's how everything went about.

All of the sarees were handpicked by my mom and sister, most of them were from Kanchipuram and some were purchased by my mother from Banaras. She really has a very good taste of choosing apparels.

All my jewelry were done by our family jeweler, Chandu Bhai Hallmark jewelers. My family has been their loyal customer for a long time now. They have a store in Abids and another one in Banjarahills. They are so welcoming and consider our inputs valuable. They are always open to suggestions.

I wore a Lehanga for my engagement which was designed by Yakshi Deepthi Reddy followed by a yellow and red Kanjeevaram silk saree. Praneeth color co-ordinated with my saree and wore a yellow Jodhpuri suit with red pocket squares. We had purchased those from Portfolio, Banjara hills.

I also have a designer cousin who just finished her fashion designing. She designed my Mehndi lehenga and yellow saree for Managala snanam. Most people at the wedding wore her designs and we loved it all. She is Babie Balogouni from Balagouni collections.

For the wedding, I wore a half-white Kanjeevaram saree and Praneeth wore a half-white dhoti with gold sequence border.

For the reception, I got a Lehanga from Mebaz Banjarahills and Praneeth got his suit from Calvin Klein. For all the other occasions he shopped in the US, those were mostly linen shirts from Michael Kors and Calvin Klein.

I  decided to get my makeup done by Siromakeupstudio as they have done a great job and most of my friends got their makeup done from them earlier.

We picked Yeluguri entertainments as our photography vendor as my best friend referred them. They have done a great job amidst all the crowd in the mandap and very angry/punctual priest.

I am not a fruit person and hence I used to have fruits in my protein shake for breakfast and I also did not get much time to workout so stayed with a healthy lifestyle.

For my skin I got a plant peel done for every two weeks. My aesthetician recommended it she also recommended me to use Aveda wedding masque, a night cream that really works (salons offer wide range of Aveda products). I also got my hair spa done before the wedding.

We went to Mexico for our honeymoon for a week. For the first 4 days we stayed in Palace resorts, Cancun. It was really heavenly waking up to that beauty and at night, the sounds of the waves were an amazing experience. In the mornings we hung out at the beach, sipping pinacoladas. Praneeth likes to play beach volleyball and he got his way into a group. As a matter of fact, I like watching him play. Most of our evenings, we had scheduled romantic beach dinners, candle-light dinners and the like. We went for spas in the afternoon. For the next 3 days we stayed in a AirBNB in Playadelcaramen. It is one of the most happening places and we got to explore the local food, culture and we also happened to visit the Cocobongo show & the disco.

We have visited Chichenitza, a Mayan temple in Yucatan peninsula, one of the 7 wonders and one shouldn't miss the laser show they have at nights. Mexico is a place that you all should visit and I strongly feel that 7 days were never really enough to explore this beautiful place.
