Anusha and Hemanth the soulmates have the perfect love story that happened in a perfect location and a perfect time. Here goes their engagement Story.
"I am Anusha, the bride, I am a Software Engineer (so-called techie, but fashion, food, and travel also interests me) and I currently live in Chicago, U.S.A. but originally from Mysore, Karnataka. (well, born there but brought up in different cities. Err that's a different story. Anyway, as I was saying I am the bride :D ) Hemanth, my fiancé also lives in Chicago who is an Analyst at a travel industry. (did you hear the term travel :D, I have my perks here ;) ) He is also an investor, philanthropist and my soulmate. (Below describes our soulmate story)
Four and a half years ago, we met each other at a New Year’s party in Chicago through mutual friends.(fireworks everywhere :D) I felt an instant connection with him, as though I knew him for years and was very comfortable interacting with him. (one of my fairy-tail moments, well he calls it, his charm) I was curious to get to know him better and understand if there is such a thing called ‘destiny’ or ‘made for each other’ or ‘soulmates’ in life and hence said yes to him when he asked me out on a date. (on Valentine’s day ;)) Since then there is no turning back and have always held our relationship strong. Although we are two different people, consider north and south pole, when put together, we attract each other like magnets. There is this unique bond or connection that has always existed between us at all times, thus proving my soulmate theory. (I want my Noble prize now ;))
After about 4 years of this beautiful relationship journey, Hemanth decides to take it to the next step and plans to surprise me. It was my birthday, and he takes me to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant which has one of the most romantic settings and views in Las Vegas. Post dinner indeed came to me the biggest surprise of my life where he goes down on one knee to propose to me for marriage. And I said yes by picturing the amazing future ahead of us, and with my eyes filled with joyous tears.
Our Engagement ceremony happened at J.W. Marriott Ballroom in Bangalore. And our 3 tiered Engagement cake exactly depicts our story with the bottom most one representing our first meet on New Years’ Eve with fireworks around us, and the middle one showing our first date on Valentine’s day and the top most one showcasing the proposal in Eiffel Tower Restaurant. And I can now officially say we are ENGAGED! Yaaay!!!
