A Gorgeous East Meets West Wedding!

The wedding of Vinithra and Mathew was unique and beautiful in more ways than one.

The frequency of East meets West weddings has definitely increased in recent times but this wedding in particular has caught our eye for its strong South Indian flavour. We loved how the Groom’s side family took part in all of the festivities with such enthusiasm and probably looked more Indian than the rest of us even! Would you believe us when we say the groom was clad in a veshti with Vibudhi smeared over his forehead? Precisely, this is not one of your typical run of the mill Indian weddings.

This wedding witnessed the coming together of not just two different families, but two different cultures, faiths and ways of life! And all these emotions and expressions were beautifully captured by @foto-zone#. Every frame is a riot of colours with a story to tell.

 

The wedding was a spectacle on its own, set against the gorgeous backdrop of The Tamarind Tree, Bangalore. The simple and elegant decor further elevated the look of the venue and thankfully, the weather gods were kind enough to keep the rains away. It was a very intimate wedding with just the closest of relatives that were invited and what a celebration it was. Every ritual that was performed involved the entire family and they sure had a gala time!
