Tripti I hired a trainer at the gym who helped me tone. I also watched what I ate. I refrained from fried food and had a lot of greens. This helped me with my skin. I also went for a deep cleansing facial once a month for three months which also helped me keep my skin from breakouts. I kept it pretty simple and didn't do anything crazy. Dance was my major physical activity so that took care of my workout. I'followed Ayurveda meticulously for 3 months before the wedding. It might get a little tricky to cook that cautiously but I loved doing it. I steamed every week and used a homemade face pack of Orange juice + Besan + honey. This is one face pack to swear by as it helps sun-tan removal and gives you a glowing skin instantly. I also had half a cup carrot juice and lime juice with honey on empty stomach alternatively. I hit the gym for Zumba everyday which really helped in keeping me fit and my skin intact. Drinking a lot of water everyday cleanses the skin as well. I tried a few face packs at home like oat meal, curd, tomato. These kept my skin hydrated. I was at the salon once a week for 4 weeks till the big day and that helped me transform my skin and hair. In fact, the specialist analyzed my skin type and customized a package and plan to suit my needs. I highly recommend for Brides-to-be to start their Beauty regimens at least a month before the big day. It makes a difference! Screen Shot 2016-04-30 at 7.29.54 PM Sara I took lots of effort to relax and rejuvenate. I did have several rounds of hair spas, oil massages and some facials too. At home, my mother was a gem. She made sure I had some kind of pack on everyday-either a cooling cucumber and lime pack, a nourishing yoghurt, turmeric and honey mixture or an exfoliative coffee and oats scrub. It is true what they say keep yourself hydrated, workout, eat right and your hair and skin will show it. Screen Shot 2016-04-30 at 7.31.57 PM
